This program outlines how communities can create food and medical security by planting community gardens, living pharmacies, medicinal forests, and edible parks. Co-founded by David Crow, The Learning Garden at Venice High School in Los Angeles has become one of the country's most successful school gardens. Using The Learning Garden as a model, we explore how communities can enjoy the numerous benefits of establishing their own neighborhood and school gardens.
